When I started, I just used Astroglide (very slippery and thin); I'm using Golden Lotion (
https://blog.onahole.eu/golden-lotion.html) now. To be honest, I didn't see too much of a difference in feeling; that being said, the Golden Lotion has some pretty sweet features. It's thick enough that it doesn't really leak out and get onto surfaces too much. The bottle design is nice (pump style) and prevents lotion from getting everywhere. Also, you don't have to shower/wash off afterwards (though I usually do so); if you wipe yourself off, it'll dry quickly. Supposedly with other lotions, this won't work. Hmm, let me try that out…
OK, it seems like that's kind of true. I tested some lotions by putting them on my arm and then trying to wipe them off. The Golden Lotion wipes fine, and so does Astroglide (possibly because it's so thin). The Moisty+ I got with my Admission doesn't really wipe off well; it kind of just sticks to your skin, and even when you've wiped it off, your skin remains kind of oily. Golden Lotion dries in such a way that it doesn't feel like anything until you shower afterwards, when it seems to reconstitute itself in water and then washes off.
